How do I resolve a margin call?

Deposit additional funds into your GigaTrade account so the net liquidation value is greater than the maintenance margin.

To resolve a margin call, you must either deposit additional funds into your margin account or close out existing positions to bring the account back within your required maintenance margin. Your maintenance margin can be located in your account on the GigaTrade dashboard.

A margin call occurs when your net liquidation value drops below your maintenance margin.

To address it quickly and avoid forced liquidation, please first review GigaTrade's notice in the dashboard to determine the exact shortfall. Then, please transfer the necessary cash or reduce positions to comply with minimum maintenance margin.

Prompt action is critical, as GigaTrade may liquidate holdings without further notice if the margin call isn't met by the deadline.
